…I recently had my first child (rainbow baby) and she was the only doula I interviewed, but upon meeting her I knew she was a perfect fit.
She is amazingly organized, and is a wealth of knowledge and has so many resources and people in her network that made my pregnancy and our transition into parenthood so much smoother than it would have been without her.
My baby was born breech via c-section which was devastating for me, and I am still disappointed it had to be that way, but she was very helpful in making it the best experience it possibly could be and ensuring I was supported post-partum for healing.
The food and nutrition she provided was exceptional, as well as emotional support while I grieved the birth experience I wasn’t able to have, but still so excitingly welcomed my daughter in what I felt was the safest way we could.
The things I appreciated the most was that she can work across a spectrum of preferences and backgrounds without pushing me in a direction, when I asked she would provide information and resources on a topic and why some parents prefer to opt out or opt for something, but ultimately respect my decision.
We did Doula services and placenta encapsulation and hope to work with her again if we have any more children.
We love Amanda and are so grateful we found her ❤️.”

“Amanda was amazing! With it being my first pregnancy, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but Amanda was with my every step of the way1 I had in my mind what I wanted my birthing experience to look like but of course I had questions along the way. Amanda was a safe place for me to ask questions, she would send articles or reccomend books for me to look into in order for me to make my own decisions! Amanda was also a valuable resource for my husband, she educated him in what a birth partner should look like (which allowed me to labor at home before rushing to the hospital because he knew exaclty what to do!) When we got to the hospital she was so supportive and encouraging. I felt empowered by Amanda, which everyone should feel during this beautiful journey!
I also used Amanda’s services for placenta encapsulation. I took my capsules everyday and my postpartum experience was ideal! With it being my first pregnancy, I don’t have anything to compare it to but I do feel like taking my capsules daily helped my iron levels (which were low for a majority of my pregnancy) reduce postpartum bleeding and increase my mood!
I highly suggest investing in Amanda as your Doula during this special time in your life!”

“I had always wanted to try placenta encapsulation but never found a trusted and local source until my third pregnancy, when Amanda came into our lives. She was everything I needed, but also so much more. She made me feel cared for, like REALLY cared for, with a complete understanding of what was happening inside and outside of my body.
She not only provided emotional support, but offered an holistic approach to pain management and all of those pesky pregnancy ailments we can sometimes experience. She came to the birthing center the night of our daughter’s birth to pick up the placenta and had everything beautifully packaged to me by the time we got home. She included clear instructions and some extra postpartum care goodies (all natural and homemade) that I used up immediately.

Best decision I could have made about my birth plan was hiring Amanda as my Doula! Amanda was professional, knowledgeable, incredibly supportive and became more than my doula, she became my friend. She helped both my husband and I to be prepared for the unexpected, how to go about the process across every option without judgement and during labor was incredibly supportive.
